The primary goal of AME is to enable, protect, and promote parallel distribution of goods for pharmaceuticals. The association is committed to free trade within the EEA, competition in the European single market and to the completion of a functioning internal market within the EU.

We have supported the work of the Swedish Childhood Cancer Fund for a long time, and continue to do so. Children and Cancer do not belong together!

Pharmaceutical insurance was created in 1978 through a voluntary agreement between pharmaceutical companies in Sweden, today there are also development companies, generic companies, parallel dealers and healthcare providers among the policyholders.

The pharmaceutical dealers are made up of member companies engaged in parallel import of medicines. The association was established in 1998 and aims to contribute to cost-saving and safe pharmaceutical supply through parallel trade for the Swedish market. All members of the Pharmaceutical Traders are insured through the LFF.

The European Medicines Agency is a European agency for the evaluation of medicinal products in the European Union. Its head office is located in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
