Medartuum started its operations in Sweden in 1996.

Three years later, in 1999, Karin started at the company, and has been part of the company ever since.

Hi Karin, a lot has happened at Medartuum since you started, tell us what it is

The biggest difference today?
‍

In all my years in the parallel import business, a lot has changed; laws,

regulations, competition, pricing etc but the biggest change I would say is

the liquidation of the state pharmacy monopoly in 2010.

When you think back to those 24 years, what is the strongest memory?

I have a lot of nice, funny and crazy memories of the Medartuum but can't think of

any specific event. What always stands out that makes me feel so good at Medartuum

and in the parallel import world are the colleagues, customers and our suppliers. We have always been

A close-knit team, we always fight together in both adversity and adversity.

A purely hypothetical question, if you haven't worked with Parallel Imports at Medartuum, what has

you done then?

If I didn't work with parallel imports, I would have worked in the real estate industry as

broker or interior designer.
